Abstract
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to deepen knowledge in machining technology using control systems. Describe the function of the rear suspension part of a motocross motorcycle that uses the Pro Link system. Describe today's use of technology in the production of this part and describe the various options for the production of this part. Following this, describe the technical requirements for this part to achieve the required functionality. Next, make a production proposal for this part using the HEIDENHAIN control system. Evaluate the implementation of this proposal in practice and evaluate whether it is possible to achieve a lower final price than for which this part can be purchased.
