Abstract

RYBANSKÝ, D. Analysis of the Frame of the Buggy D2: Bachelor Thesis. Ostrava VŠBTechnical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Applied Mechanics,2018, 69 p. Thesis head: Ing. Martin Fusek, Ph.D. Bachelor thesis deals with analysis and optimalization of steel frame of Buggy D2 by finite element method. The introducting part include terms such as frame and car body. Futhermore, the principe of calculations is described according to the finite element method. Analysis of design frame is consist of three parts, modal analysis, calculation of torsional stiffness and analysis by strained dynamic bending. From results of individual calculations the optimalitation of frame was made in order to comply certain requirements. On addition the optimalized frame was analyzed by states of loading in two modes, braking and cornering. Analyses were made using software MSC Patran / Nastran 2017.1, using finite element method.
