Mezigenerační analýza spotřebitelského chování na trhu vlakové dopravy

Abstract

The aim of this thesis was to investigate consumer behaviour in train transport in the Czech Republic with regard to generations. Specifically, the aim was to identify differences in purchases, preferences and customer satisfaction between generations. A quantitative approach was used in the research and data was collected through an online questionnaire. Respondents were categorized by age and the results were presented through graphs and tables. The research included a total of 190 respondents and was conducted between March and April 2023. The results showed that there are significant differences in shopping behaviour, preferences and customer satisfaction between generations. The most significant differences were observed between younger and older generations. The results of this research may be useful for train companies in the Czech Republic in targeting specific customer segments, improving service quality and increasing their profitability.
