Perspektivy obnovy vnitrostátní letecké přepravy v ČR a SR

Abstract

The thesis deals with the restoration of domestic air transport in the Czech and Slovak Republics. It examines the history of Czechoslovak air transport, including the aircraft used, fare levels, and frequency of flights. It also compares the current state of domestic transport in neighboring countries—Germany, Poland, and Austria. Based on a gravity model, it determines suitable cities for the domestic air network and suggests appropriate aircraft for individual routes. The financial analysis calculates the specific costs of flights within the network. The work is supported by a survey that reflects passengers' preferences. The results provide a basis for improving domestic air transport, which could offer more comfortable and efficient travel for the inhabitants of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
