Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with a design of new furnace brickwork, construction modification of the step mechanism and the choice of a suitable burner for a continuous heating furnace for wound spring heating in Haná Ironworks. The introduction presents the current conditions and the analysis of the problems connected with the design of a furnace. The whole thesis is divided into three parts which deal especially with one design knot. The control calculation for the first two knots is executed not only by basic methods, but also by the method of ultimate elements. In the third knot there is only a design of output according to the literature. The appendices of the thesis include also a 3D model of the brickwork and the conveyor together with their thermic and static analysis MKP on DVD.
