Abstract
Thesis deals with the concept of the pressurizer for the AP1000 Westinghouse project. The first part presents the Westinghouse AP1000 project and describes its innovatory components. The next part puts attention to the passive safety of the AP1000 project. It is also concerned with the residual heat removal system after the possible accident of the nuclear power plant. The pressurizer and its functions are introduced afterwards. The fundamental calculation of the heat processes is specified. The functions of the shower and electroheater systems are suggested. The mathematical model of the transitional relations resolution is described and designed. The analysis and the results are included in the next chapter. The attachment contains the graphical documentation of the pressurizer.
