Abstract

The thesis was oriented on problems of operation of municipal authorities´ information system. The information system of the Zlín region and improvement its functioning on the basis of document Information strategy of the Zlín region were selected for practical analysis. This theme falls into area of information policy in the Czech republic. The aim of this thesis was make a description and an analysis of information system of the Zlín region and of the concept Information strategy of the Zlín region for years 2006 – 2013, summarize the findings and formulate useful proposals for further functioning of this information system in the future.
