Abstract

Thesis describes the process of incineration of municipal waste (MW) in the introduction, including its specifics. It also provides a possibilitiesoverview of raising electrical efficiency of MW incinerators. The main part of the thesis deals with the choice of Intermediate Superheater concept and calculations of its dimensions; and the choice and design of its regulation. Proposal of usage of the designed Intermediate Superheater for the selected MW incinerator is also part of the thesis. Pressure losses of the designed Intermediate Superheater are calculated and there is a comparison of electrical power for various options. Finally, the evaluation of various positions of the Intermediate Supereheater within the MW incineratot is made, to find out the best usage of MW energy. The drawings of selected variant were also created as a part of the thesis.
