Vrtačka na vrtání otvorů pro nábytkové kování

Abstract

This master’s thesis focuses on the design of a device capable of drilling three holes for cup hinges into furniture doors within a single operation cycle. The theoretical part provides an overview of wood-based panel materials used in furniture manufacturing and the technologies used for their machining. Furthermore, drilling patterns were analyzed regarding various manufacturers of furniture suspension fittings. Existing technical solutions were reviewed in relation to production scale, ranging from custom to mass production. Consequently, a machine was designed to facilitate the precise and efficient drilling of cup and mounting holes. The design process considered the properties of the machined materials, the specifications of the cutting tools, and operator ergonomics.
