Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the design proposal of wheel unit of the Stairclimber with posibility of movement on staight and spiral stairs. The introduction of the thesis is focused on nowadays solution of the current stairclimbers, it's possible use in practice, advantages and disadvantages. Part of diploma thesis is analyze of nowadays solution and followed by selection of the optimum, by using the multi criteria analysis. This bachelor thesis also includes a 3D model of the final dessign variant of the track unit of the mobile robot ARES in the CAD system SolidWorks, a assembly drawing, parts drawings, FEA calculation of frame of vehicle, calculatio of bearings and calculation of seal O rings.
