Bachelor work compares economic return of heat pump to small wind power plant as a resource of renewable energy. Project is made for utilization in a family house in town Bílovec, district Nový Jičín.

Introduction of individual parts is focused on theoretical description. I carried out calculation of house heat losses due to proposal of heat pump. Subsequently I compared costs of investments and operating costs to the costs of existing heating system with gas boiler. There is an analysis of wind rate carried out as well as its comparing to the data which were measured by weather station. Economical contribution is focused on selling of produced electricity to distribution network.At the end of this work is worked out the environmental and economical comparison of both resources of renewable energy
