Abstract
The objective of the bachelor thesis is design of the mechanism of jaws of self-locking pliers used in heavy metallurgical industry. Self-locking pliers are used for handling of ingots. The bachelor thesis also solves in detail related equipment and parts. description of individual parts and structural elements of self-locking pliers follows furthermore. The next chapter is a design calculation of main parts of the pliers.
