The thesis deals with a design of the sports kart bonnet for outdoor and indoor racing circuits. At the beginning of my thesis, the list of the karts according to their characteristic features is presented. After comparing various types of the karts, the basic shape and connecting parts of the kart are designed. The thesis offers more variants from which the most suitable one is chosen.
When designing the bonnet, the importance is put mainly to the driver´s comfort that is the reason why ergonomic norms appear in the thesis. A very important part is the appearance of the kart itself preserving its functionality, reliability, safety and aesthetic value.
The thesis is completed with the figures necessary for fixing to the frame.
