Age management a jeho role v řízení zaměstnanců ve vybrané společnosti

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the issue of age management and its role in employee management within a construction company. The aim of the thesis is to examine how employees perceive age diversity in the workplace, working conditions, knowledge sharing and their motivation to remain with the company and to propose recommendations for improving these areas. The theoretical part explains key concepts related to human resource management, age diversity and age management. Attention is also given to the concept of work ability, the Work Ability House model and the eight pillars of age management. The theoretical framework further includes an overview of demographic changes in the Czech Republic and their impact on the labour market. The practical part is based on a quantitative questionnaire survey conducted among the employees of the selected company, complemented by an analysis of internal employee turnover data. The results are processed using descriptive statistics and interpreted with respect to different age groups of respondents. Based on these findings, specific measures are proposed to improve the working environment, strengthen intergenerational cooperation and enhance the motivation of employees across age categories.
