Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to assess the capacity of the transfer junction using the microsimulation model created in the program PTV VISSIM and the subsequent proposal for the possible increase of this capacity. The model was loaded with three variants of intensity, the current intensity of pedestrian traffic determined by means of a traffic survey, the intensity taking into account the change in the division of the freight work during the extension of the tram line to Ostrava – Poruba.
