Abstract

The thesis deals with an air transport of dangerous goods in DHL Express company. The first part describes the beginnings of the company, its philosophy and legislation. The next part talks about dangerous goods international classification generally and safe air transport procedures in DHL Express regarding these dangerous goods according to applicable regulations. A manual describing specific procedures in case of accidents related to dangerous goods has been formed, based on the classification and already known procedures. The manual covers steps for specific dangerous goods classes or groups in case of fire or spill.
