Abstract
This thesis focuses of the employee selection and adaptation in the join-stock company „Třinecké železárny“. The aim of the thesis is to map the current situation of process of employee selection and adaptation in the enterprise, to assess the used procedures and suggest recommendations for improvement in this enterprise area. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of employee selection and adaptation, processes, employee recruitment and their adaptation. In the analytical part there are specificied the object of analysis, its procedures and methods and finally the interpretation of results. The conclusion contains proposal for improving the system of employee selection and adaptation.
