Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the technology of large-scale robotic 3D concrete printing, examining its fundamental principles, structural systems, material choices, extrusion techniques, and methods of material delivery. The goal of the thesis is to provide a thorough overview of the current state of the technology and its practical applications. The thesis also compares 3D printing with traditional construction methods and explores its use in various areas such as residential buildings, urban infrastructure, and bridges. Additional attention is given to the development of geopolymer materials, the role of artificial intelligence, and future directions, including the use of swarm robotics, aerial drone-based printing, and construction in extreme environments such as on the Moon. The research draws primarily from academic databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and IEEE.
