Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon of employee engagement in the context of virtual teams. The objective of the thesis was to design and partly also execute an employee engagement strengthening program for a geographically distributed business unit within a large international corporation. Based on the so far execution also recommendations for the next phases of the program have been gathered.
