The emphasis was placed on the segmentation of an in-depth image and noise filtration. MS Kinect was used to evaluate the potential of object location taking advantage of the in-depth image. This tool, being an affordable alternative to expensive devices based on 3D laser scanning, was deployed in series of experiments focused on object location in its field of vision. In our case, balls with fixed diameter were used as objects for 3D location.Item type: Item , Design of the modular pneumatic valve terminal(Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava, 2015) Takosoglu, Jakub E.; Łaski, Paweł A.The paper presents design of the modular pneumatic valve terminal, which was made on the basis of the patent application No A1 402905 „A valve for controlling fluid power drives, specially for pneumatic actuators, and the control system for fluid power drives valves”. The authors describe a method of operation of the system with double-acting valve and 5/2 (five ways and two position) valve. Functions of the valve, and an example of application of the valve terminal in the production process were presented. 3D solid models of all the components of the valve were made. The paper presents a complete 3D model of the valve in various configurations. Using CAD-embedded SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation computational fluid dynamics CFD analysis was also carried out of compressed air flow in the ways of the valve elements.Item type: Item , .NET Gadgeteer application development using wireless communications(Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava, 2015) Sladká, Karla; Babiuch, MarekThe article describes the application development on Microsoft platform .NET Gadgeteer, which is part of the .NET Micro Framework. Our research has shown that inertial navigation is suitable only for heading and attitude estimation. In order to achieve reliable and precise position estimation the additional odometer sensor is required. Article also describes control algorithm which can be used for steering control of the car according to pre-set waypoints. Waypoints have to be placed with respect to the dimensions and overall maneuverability of the vehicle.Item type: Item , Use of cosimulation on control of casting mold preheating process as distributed parameters system(Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava, 2015) Bartalský, Lukáš; Bartko, Michal; Belavý, Cyril; Hulkó, GabrielThe paper deals with problematics of the control of the casting mold preheating process as a distributed parameters system. At the beginning the casting mold and the concept of the distributed parameters systems are introduced. Then there are descriptions of a model designed in COMSOL Multiphysics, system identification and a prepared scheme model for controllers parameters settings in the MATLAB & Simulink environment with advanced product DPS Blockset for MATLAB & Simulink. In the end cosimulation of the software tools COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB & Simulink is described and achieved results are analyzed.Item type: Item , From monitored values to the model creation of the dynamic system(Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava, 2015) Baranová, Vladena; Landryová, Lenka; Futó, JozefCurrent information technology allow sensing and processes data recording under severe conditions of operation with new technical means in real time, storing the measurement data, its processing and evaluation in situ or in the laboratory [1]. An example would be the monitoring system boring machine-rock used in tunneling Branisko. The monitored variables of the boring process were downforce of disconnecting head of boring machine, torque, speed of disconnecting head, the power consumption of the aggregate and the extended position of disconnecting head depending on the drilled length. These measured values allowed the creation of models, which help to modeling various properties of boring process within the meaning of Eykhoff definition: "A model is an expression of the essential characteristics of an existing object, which describes the knowledge of this object in a usable form" [2, 3].Item type: Item , Simulation model of railway signalling(Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava, 2015) Balák, Jozef; Nagy, PeterThis paper deals with a possibility of a modeling of a block system. A created modeling tool contains a graphic editor of a track section configuration and a graphic editor of control algorithms, which serves on a writing of behavior algorithms of exterior devices of the block system. In order to the modeling of the block system was possible general models of basic exterior devices and a programming language for the writing of control algorithms to a source code form had to be created. It describes a work with different parts of the modeling tool and their possibilities on a selected example of an automatic block. The paper also describes an ability of to simulate a modeled block system activity and an ability to simulate the movement of the train in track section.Item type: Item , Measuring the amount of mechanical vibration during lathe processing(Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava, 2015) Salokyová, ŠtefániaThe article provides basic information regarding the measurement and evaluation of mechanical vibration during the processing of material by lathe work. The lathe processing can be characterized as removing material by precisely defined tools. The results of the experimental part are values of the vibration acceleration amplitude measured by the piezoelectric sensor on the bearing house of the lathe. A set of new knowledge and conclusions is formulated based on the analysis of the created graphical dependencies.Item type: Item , The experiment of drying process of the fibrous material(Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava, 2015) Raszka, JiříThe article describes the experiment of water evaporation from fibrous material (cotton). The material is placed in the tube and hot air flows through (process of drying). Temperature of air is measured by thermocouple. The textile represents porous medium with certain amount of water (wet textile). Porous layer makes pressure drop when airflow starts. Properties of air (temperature, relative humidity) change during evaporation process. Values of pressure drop, temperature and humidity measured during experiment are used for set up of boundary condition, porous layer and evaporation model in Ansys Fluent 13.Item type: Item , The possibility of people navigation in unknown building complex(Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava, 2015) Pirník, Rastislav; Halgaš, JánThis paper focuses on the problems of navigation in a vast building with the possibility of detection of a subsequent movement in different parts of the object. It describes the design of documents used for 2D and 3D navigation of courier from point A (store) to point B (in a large office building). This approach uses a data fusion from camera systems (classically used for video detection, segmental measurement and so on) and RFID reader. The disadvantage of classic cameras systems for measuring speed is the need of good visibility. This problem can be eliminated by the merger of data from the camera system and other identifiers, which can be obtained from the car. Today, RFID tags are used for convenience of transport and for the identification of parts in the production of automobiles. Therefore, we decided to use as other identifying information processed data from some RFID tags placed in the structural parts of the car. Subsequently, we can use data fusion for accurate and relevant identification of the vehicle during bad weather. Subsequently, these data can be used in transport applications as is the estimation of the travel time.Item type: Item , Mobile gait tracking using MS Kinect and robotic platform(Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava, 2015) Crha, Jan; Ťupa, OndřejComputer vision is a fast developing field of science. Activity monitoring and analysis belongs to this topic. Our application is focused on gait monitoring and analysis. The novelty of this attitude is in the combination of the MS Kinect v2 sensor for capturing the gait pattern and mobility of such sensor thanks to placing this device on a robotic platform. Crucial part of this project is the hardware solution and autonomous function of this recording set. The designed platform is a six-wheeled robotic platform controlled by a micro controller using the depth information from the Kinect sensor and the distance driven by robot provided by encoders attached to every motor. The following research is devoted to the proposal of methods for a precise and as narrow as possible control of the platform and post processing of records for a features selection and a classification of physical activities and early diagnostics of gait disorders, primarily the Parkinson’s disease.
