Abstract
The purpose of the bachelor thesis with a research character was to introduce the reader to the concept of additive technology and its history. The first aim of the thesis was to introduce the reader to the different additive technologies and the printing process of each method. Another goal was to describe what postprocessing is and its standard methods for each printing method. Subsequently, the non-conventional methods that can be performed on printed parts were described. The work also includes an experiment of printed samples using the SLM method from MS 300 material. Selected standard and unconventional surface treatments were performed on these samples. The surface roughness parameter Sa was chosen as the evaluation criterion. This determined which surface treatment achieved the lowest value. The best value was achieved by centrifugal plastering.
