Abstract

Master thesis is dealing with design of drilling rigs walking mechanism. The introduction presents issue of drilling rigs and general description of their main components. Following are describe using drives for moving of drilling rigs and a choice of one of them. Design of system is present by two possible solutions of control. On the basis of selected and evaluated criteria was chosen electro-hydraulic control system. Thesis is supplemented by basic calculations required for design of system and thermal calculation summarizing the system requirements for cooling. The main output of the thesis is the documentation that includes hydraulic diagram with specification and assembly drawing of the hydraulic cylinder.
