Abstract

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to determine and compare the characteristics of the brake. If necessary, propose solutions and to meet the requirements of legislation requiring rail operation. The introductory part of the thesis focuses on the brake systems of rail vehicles. Subsequently, dedicated to the analysis of transport routes and rail vehicles used for the intended transport. The next part is the calculation of the brake parameter and compared with the tabular value. When unsatisfactory results parameter brakes then followed by a section devoted to the design, how to achieve an outcome parameter brakes conditions to be satisfied. The conclusion contains a statistical evaluation of the results, which are in the course of Bachelor thesis consummated.
