Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the problem of loss of stability on the roof of the car Škoda Fabia II which was caused by temperature stress in the drying line after the paints and lacquers were put onto the car. The process of lacquering and measuring temperature fields are described in the beginning of the thesis. Methods for both linear and nonlinear calculations of loss of shape stability are also described. The calculation of loss of shape stability is then described both in linear and nonlinear area. The next to the last chapter is devoted to the proposals which increase the resistance of the roof to temperature stress. These proposals are supplied by results both of linear and nonlinear calculations.
