Abstract
Master thesis is dealing with design of traverse for sheet coil manipulation, which is a part of manipulator. The introduction describes present state of coil manipulation technology. On the basis of traverse functional principle the conceptual design of individual design nodes is executed and followed by detailed constructional design of traverse parts including calculations and selection of specific drives. Then the overall assembly of designed traverse is described. The next chapter is FEM analysis of selected parts. There is an evaluation of results and optimization design at the end of the thesis. Technical design documentation is included in enclosure of the thesis.
