Vyvažování speciálních kol nákladních vozidel

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of balancing special wheels of trucks. The work focuses on the causes of imbalance, its manifestations, and possible ways to reduce it. The theoretical part describes the main components of truck wheels, the basic principles of balancing, possible causes of imbalance, and methods of its measurement. The practical part is devoted to the design of a methodology for determining the influence of individual components of a special wheel on the overall imbalance. Measurements were carried out on a wheel disc assembly with a valve, a run-flat insert, a tyre casing, and a complete wheel with lubricant. Based on the obtained values, the contribution of the individual components to the resulting wheel imbalance was determined. Subsequently, technical variants for balancing special truck wheels were proposed. The individual proposals were assessed in terms of safety, technical feasibility, assembly complexity, costs, and balancing efficiency. The output of the thesis is a recommendation of a suitable technical solution for reducing imbalance and limiting vibrations of special truck wheels.
