Optimalizace výroby switchboxu s využitím metod plošného tváření

Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the change of an unsuitable design solution of a component, when the designers of the customers demanded the connection of the main cabinet with the holder by two welded points. However, this design solution damaged the galvanized layer and the part was prone to corrosion at the welding site, and it was at this point that the product should be most protected against corrosion. Furthermore, the absence of auxiliary fixing elements (positioning slits and holes) on the semi-finished products led to longer production time, scrap and instability of the production process. The change in the design of the product led not only to corrosion resistance at the joint, but also to lower production time, lower scrap and increased stability of the production process.
