Abstract

The work addresses the issue of design and approval in public transport serving Ostrava Airport. It points out the current state of public transport, the frequency of service at Ostrava Airport, the process and communication when approving changes in both bus transport and rail transport. It also proposes measures to increase the coordination of bus and flight schedules using a heuristic method to ensure better connection of bus connections to airline connections in July 2026 and the application of the method to individual changes to bus connections in practice according to valid timetables, flight schedules and vehicle circulations. The result is the minimization of the optimization criterion and the associated greatest possible connection of bus connections to airline connections.
