Abstract

The Master Thesis is focused on the design of a mathematical optimization model for locomotive scheduling with the possibility of implementation time windows for train paths. The introductory chapters are devoted to a brief description of the current situation in the conditions of the carrier and the introduction of methods used for solving the given issue. Chapter 4 details the carrier‘s requirements and includes a compiled general mathematical optimization model. In Chapter 5, the proposed model tested in experiment with real data. The final chapters are focused on the evaluation of experimental results.
