Abstract

The thesis deals with the design of a bender of test samples of welds, which are then optically examined. In the first part of the thesis, a research is conducted on the subject of possibilities of research samples of welds according to the applicable standards. The second part of the thesis deals with the design of the pattern bender and the justification of the individual designed elements into the assembly. By determining the necessary bending moment for the sample bending. By calculating the tightening torque of individual assembly connections. Strength simulations of the parts of the bender and determination of a suitable lubricant for lubricating the functional friction surfaces of the mechanism. The third part of the thesis deals with the calculation of the return of the whole device, where all costs of manufactured parts are included and the return time of the entire investment in the sample bender is determined. A drawing document is prepared for the whole sample bender, according to which the whole device can be manufactured and assembled.
