Tvorba simulačního modelu pro mobilní robot

Abstract

SULIMENKO, Daniel. Creation of Simulation Model of Mobile Robot. Ostrava, 2026, 81 p. Bachelor's thesis. VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Robotics. Thesis head Jan BABJAK. This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the development of a simulation model for a mobile robot. The introduction of the thesis is devoted to a literature review on mobile robots and similar kits of the type specified for the robot, followed by the creation of a requirements specification. The next section of the thesis contains an analysis of the specified robot, addressing its components, overall energy consumption, and electrical wiring diagram. This is followed by a section in which the provided 3D model of the specified robot is examined in terms of its dynamic properties. The next section focuses on the simulation environment in the CoppeliaSim program, where a procedure is outlined for transferring the robot model from Creo Parametrics to the aforementioned simulation environment. It also outlines the procedure for configuring dynamic properties, animating the model, and activating the robot’s sensor subsystems. Subsequently, the thesis describes a scenario in which the robot demonstrates its functionality. The thesis then addresses the control logic within the simulation environment—that is, the program that will control the robot. In the final phase, the thesis focuses on bringing a real robot to life through programming in the Arduino IDE. The functional code in the Lua programming language is implemented in C++.
