Waste wood combustion and co-combustion with lignite in a fluidised-bed power station

Abstract

Combustion of various fuels (lignite and wood waste materials) has been compared from the environmental point of view in circulating fluidised-bed power station in Štětí. It was concluded that combustion of waste wood produces lower amounts of environmentally hazardous pollutants than combustion of fossil fuel.
