Abstract

The thesis deals with the design of the air heater at the steam generator for WtE with elimination of chloride corrosion, which has been developed by VSB–TUO. The theoretical part focuses on the thermal waste treatment with focusing on legislative requirements, operation of the WtE with respect to chloride corrosion. The last chapter of the theoretical part includes the description of the possibilities of the air pre-heating. The practical part contains the scheme of the output temperature control. The following chapters deal with the calculation of the heat exchanger parameters and also the construction of it.
