Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the testing tool life of cutting ceramics in intermittent cutting conditions and determining the appropriateness of using cutting ceramics for machining this way. In the first is described cutting ceramics, her distribution and use in the field of machining. The following chapter consists of explanations of terms and the calculation of durability, service life and rustiness tools. The next section is presented the methodology of testing inserts for turning. The following is given an analysis and preparation procedure used product and election counts of cutting ceramics. The final part consists of readings, processing and drawing conclusions.
