Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the analysis of low-cost industrial robots and their application in manufacturing automation. The first part describes the basic characteristics of industrial robots, including their structural arrangement, control systems, and technical parameters. Subsequently, a review of low-cost robotic systems is carried out with emphasis on their structural differences, economic aspects, and possibilities of application in industry, education, and research. The thesis also contains an overview of selected low-cost robotic manipulators and a description of major manufacturers of these systems. Furthermore, the work analyzes control system architectures, programming possibilities, and structural solutions of robotic manipulators. The final part provides a comparison of selected low-cost industrial robots in terms of technical parameters, construction, software openness, and economic suitability for practical deployment.
