Analýza typů podvozků používaných pro ultralehká letadla

Abstract

Zipser, Václav. Analysis of Landing Gear Types Used for Ultralight Aircraft. Ostrava, 2026. Bachelor’s Thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Transport. 38 p., Thesis supervisor: Ing. Marek Szymonik. This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of landing gear types used for ultralight aircraft. The research section provides an overview of the genesis of landing gear development, the legislative framework at the international, European, and national levels, and a typology of landing gear configurations used in the UL category. The thesis describes individual landing gear configurations, types of shock absorption, tyre variants, and retraction system options, including the basic requirements of the UL-2 regulation. In the practical section, five variants of landing gear aircraft are compared using a multicriteria decision-making method employing pairwise comparison, the Saaty method, and linear partial utility functions. The results of the comparison are evaluated and justified on the basis of established criteria and their weights. In the concluding section, two structural problems occurring in ultralight aircraft are identified and possible engineering solutions are proposed.
