Abstract

The contents of this thesis are creation of light controlled intersection and uncontrolled intersection models, using Witness simulation software. A traffic research is to be found in this thesis, and its results were used in simulation model and in calculations of the intersection in accordance with technical terms. Next step is creation of individual models and their validation is described in this thesis. Outputs of the models are compiled and compared at the end. The aim of this thesis is to carry out experiments which generate output values of average delay and average length of vehicle queue in intersection. The results gained from simulation were compared and evaluated. The results of uncontrolled intersection were compared with values obtained from technical terms methods.
