Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of a graphical user interface for a group of two elevators. It focuses on the development of an algorithm for controlling a group of elevators and making the correct real-time decisions to increase efficiency depending on the usage of more than one elevator. The theoretical part compares the previous developments, the history of elevator control and here examples of their implementation in buildings are given. Subsequently, control options for individual lifts and groups of lifts are presented. Furthermore, an analysis of the inputs and outputs required to create the aforementioned application is performed. The second half of this thesis is devoted to the graphical design of the user application and the subsequent creation of program code for the control and simulation of two elevators. The decision cycle is described using activity diagrams. As a practical output, the functionality of the user application is demonstrated using several sample examples and an evaluation of the effectiveness of the transport in crisis situations is made. The thesis concludes by suggesting a future development direction and the possibility of using the application I have designed.
