Studie redukce rotačních hmot motoru závodního automobilu

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to study the reduction of rotating masses in order to improve the dynamics of a racing vehicle. In the research part the problem of mass and its effect on vehicle dynamics is described. Furthermore, research has been carried out on different rotating masses and their possible design modifications. In the practical part, an alternator modification is proposed and effect of rotating masses on different transmission variants has been analysed. The computational analysis is complemented by run-up curves. The practical part includes control measurements. The outcomes are shows in the thesis's conclusion.
