Abstract
The bachelor's thesis is focused on the analysis of the problem of drop forging of a given part applied within the hydraulic system. With regard to the regular repetition of the demand for fittings of a shape-matching part, the optimization of the production of the die forging technology is a possibility to increase the profit, resp. reduction of production costs of the forging. Based on the analysis of the technological process of work on the forge, a technological modification of the upsetting operation was proposed. By stamping into a double-sided cone, it is possible to achieve the transfer of the corresponding volume of material and thus ensure the docking of the forging in the pre-pressing and post-pressing operation. From an economic point of view, it is good to use the full capacity of the forging machine and it was used in the original solution for approx. 50%, for this reason the design of double piece fittings is justified and according to the results of the analysis of forged standard times correct.
