Konstrukční návrh zadního křídla vozu Formula Student

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of a rear wing for a Formula Student car, aiming to improve its performance - specifically, by increasing downforce and reducing aerodynamic drag while also decreasing weight compared to previous versions. The design is based on an analysis of the current solution and was based on CFD simulations validated by pressure tape measurements, damper compression data, and Flow-Vis. The final design was further subjected to strength analysis. The thesis includes a comparison of different variants and an evaluation of the achieved results. The design and manufacturing documentation of the proposed wing is also included.
