Abstract
This doctoral dissertation solves problems of technology of brown coal extraction on strip mine with the view of optimal setting of paddle wheel position. The main task is substantial increase of precision and determine a spatial paddle wheel position. It is essential for coal extraction in complicated geological coal seams in DNT Tušimice locality. Development of mathematical model is part of dissertation and it will determine 3D position of paddle wheel centre in actual time. The model uses complex data gauge instalated in GPS sensors and receivers.
