Analýza brzdění soupravy kolejových vozidel

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of braking characteristics of an electric multiple unit based on recorded operational data. The main objective of the thesis is to analyse the train braking process, determine parameters describing braking behaviour, and subsequently compare individual braking processes. The theoretical part contains a literature review focused on railway vehicle braking, braking systems, and recording devices used on railway vehicles. The practical part focuses on the analysis of train motion records. From the provided data, parameters characterising braking are calculated, particularly instantaneous acceleration, incremental acceleration, and average braking deceleration. Subsequently, the individual braking processes are compared and evaluated.
