Analýza rámu Buggy D1

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with performing strength analyses and optimization of design frame of buggy D1. Draft of supporting frame is based of cooperation with Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Analyses are consist of four parts, modal analysis, check of torsional stiffness, analysis by strained dynamic bending, strength analyses in driving modes, braking and cornering. Target of this thesis is check original concept of supporting frame through analyses and then frame optimize, until criteria established by each analyses are not met. Final optimized frame has been compared with default frame for reviewing effects of changes. Individual analyses are calculated numerically using the finite elements method (FEM), using software MSC Patran / Nastran 2017.1.
