Abstract
Diploma thesis looks into the technical condition of machinery for nitrogen production. Detailed description of segment plain bearings, their geometry and advantages of use. An important part of the diploma thesis is the practical part. There are mentioned the methods of technical diagnostics and the results of their measurements. The conclusion is concerned with financial view on the technical issues.
