Podrobně popisuje segmentová kluzná ložiska, jejich geometrii a výhody použití. Důležitou součástí diplomové práce je praktická část, ve které jsou uvedeny použité metody technické diagnostiky a výsledky z jejich měření. Závěr se zabývá ekonomickou stránkou celé problematiky.cs
