Abstract

The diploma thesis describes the implementation of Machine Vision into the Test rig in the Hydraulic Laboratory in the CPIT Building. The implementation will be focused on the improvement of safety during the testing process where the presence of a person will be verified before the simulation starts. The second improvement is focused on the automatic measuring of the selected spring. Python code and a 3D depth camera will be installed and programmed to attain the desired position, thus, new blocks into the current Control System Model will be included.
