Počítačová simulace zahřívání a chlazení brzdového systému vozu Formula Student

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the thermal analysis of a Formula Student single-seater brake system. The introductory part describes the theory of brake components and various methods for measuring their temperatures. The primary objective of the work is to determine key values critical for system design, such as velocity-dependent heat transfer coefficients and the subsequent calculation of the temperature fields of individual components. Based on these calculations, current components are analyzed, and potential optimizations are proposed, including material changes or the implementation of aerodynamic elements.
