Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on the nonlinearities in structures. At the beginning of the thesis the nonlinearities are divided and described. Then, the thesis is focused on geometrical nonlinearities and snap-through effect. The next part is about two examples of setting von Mises´s truss structure and their analytical-numerical solution according to the theory of 1st and 2nd order. Then, FEM solution is used according to the theory of large deformations and these methods are compared. In the last part of this thesis there is designed model for experimental measuring that finds the exact dependence between deflection and applied force on one point of structure.
