Thesis supervisor: Vrtek, M. This Diploma Thesis is focused on milk cooling system design with subsequent utilization of residual heat from condenser, for heating domestic water. This water is used in this technology. In the first, theoretical, part is mentioned history of cooling systems, described existing device and calculated the theoretical cooling circuit for necessary cooling of the milk. In second, practical, part is checking the correctness of the calculations, two simulations of cooling system with subsequent utilization of residual heat and made a design of real cooling system. In last part, is already designed, according to simulations, definitive version of device for utilization of residual heat and following by energy balance.
